  ON JAN 13, 2007 IN BAZEL THE RAILWAY TRANSPORT FRIENDS ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED AS A FULL MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN PASSENER'S FEDERATION ...
  At its regular conference in Basil, Switzerland the Association “Friends of the Railways Transport” has been accepted as a full member of the federation. The decision was made by the vote of the members of the counsel. High appraisal was given to the federation.

  The association supports the act against the unfairly judged nurses in Libya and suggests all the employees of the railways to put the national flag on their uniforms during work.

  WE CREATE AN ORGANIZATION FOR BUILDING A MONUMENT OF THE BULGARIAN RAILROADER ...
 There are many railway man noted for their deeds and have their place in the Bulgarian history, for example- Todor Kableshkov,Nikola Korchev, Zahari Stoianov, Nikola Vapcarov, all of them in the different spheres of the railways.

  THE MAYOR OF THE RIGION OF KARDJALI HASAN AZIS IS THE NEW HONORARY MEMBER OF THE RAILWAY TRANSPORT FRIENDS ASSOCIATION...
 Because of the exceptional merits for popularization of the railway transport by the repairing of the children's railway the title is given to the honorary member of the association Hasan Azis.

  THE REPAIR OF THE CHLIDREN'S RAILWAY WILL START IN A MONTH.
  Since the project has not been approved during the January finance commission of the program 'Beautiful Bulgaria’, the deputy mayor Konstantin Piskov-one of the active members of this initiative has decided the railway to be repaired with the municipality budget. The money received is about 350 000lv.

 On March 24,2006 Asen Popovski suddenly passed away.

  On September 30 the meeting with Nesim Chaush was realized. We had the opportunity to get familiar with the work on the children's train in the city park part of which is repairing the tunnel and the locomotive. As members of the Railway association we declared our will to participate in this socially good initiative.

  ON JUNE 21,2005 THE CHILDREN'S RAILWAY IN PLOVDIV WAS OFFICIALLY APPROVED BY THE MUNICIPALITY.
  The Government and the Municipality share expenses around 342000 lv. 78 000 lv are amount of the budget on the project 'Beautiful Bulgaria' and 93 000 lv would be given by the municipality after the decision is approved by it's members.

  About railway transport interesting thing to notice is the experience of Czech Republic in managing projects for optimizing the railway transport.
